Bijan Anjomi is a man who is making a difference. Author, speaker, personal coach and a visionary for World Peace, he lectures internationally in the fields of health, spirituality and effortless living.
Born in Persia and raised as a student of the Baha'i, Judaic and Muslim faiths, Bijan came to the United States when he was 19 years old. In the years that followed, his natural curiosity led him along many paths. To name a few, he owned a health club-worked as a bouncer in bars-attended college-became a commercial real estate agent-studied various forms of meditation-attained his certification as a clinical hypnotherapist-and captured the title of Mr. Universe, Natural Division for 1993 and 1994.
The evolution of Bijan-the-author began in the late 1980's, when he began studying, practicing and finally teaching the principles set forth in A Course In Miracles. Over the next nine years, he noticed that his life was gradually changing for the better; by the mid-1990's, his health was flawless, his relationships were joyful and harmonious, and all that he desired was being provided without effort. At this point, his higher consciousness-or "guide", as Bijan refers to him-appeared, and asked him to write a book called Absolutely Effortless Prosperity. Bijan admits that he was, to put it mildly, not very receptive to the idea, as he had never found reading or writing to be a particularly joyful activity. Regardless, he finally agreed to write the book.
The first edition of Absolutely Effortless Prosperity was self-published in February of 1997 for a small group of people who were invited to be part of a thirty-day seminar. Within a month, the Las Vegas Effortless Prosperity Center opened, and study groups were meeting every two hours from morning 'til night, seven days a week. And then, through miracles and word-of-mouth, this simple book of thirty lessons was falling into the hands of people everywhere.
In the next two years, Bijan hosted his own radio show in Las Vegas, appeared on radio and TV talk shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York, and became a regular guest on WOR New York's nationally syndicated Joey Reynolds Show. He was further guided to bring forth a series of books for children and teenagers, a book on health, and the next set of lessons for adults-all following the basic principles of Effortless Prosperity.
Through the guidance of his higher consciousness, he has been directed to manifest his works for one purpose: world peace. The purpose of his books, tapes, seminars and workshops is to assist people in opening their hearts to joy and peace-experiencing and believing in it, and living in the reality of it.
To this end, Bijan continues reaching out to people worldwide, through speaking engagements, television, radio, personal coaching, and through his website. He has guided many students of his original classes to go forth as study group facilitators in prisons, shelters and dependency groups, and has watched the blossoming of Effortless Prosperity For Children. As more and more employers are beginning to schedule meditation or "spirituality breaks" for their employees, he is also hearing news about Effortless Prosperity study groups in the workplace. The light of Effortless Prosperity is steadily growing brighter and stronger, as people step forth to translate the writings into other languages-the Spanish edition of Effortless Prosperity Book I has been in Mexico since 1998, the Persian (Farsi) translation was introduced in the spring of 2000, and Chinese, Dutch, Polish, and French and Japanese editions are in process.
Bijan's vision is simple yet profound. The basic truth is in these words he speaks, time and again:
"As more and more people begin to experience joyful, peaceful, abundant living,the barriers between countries, cultures and religious philosophies will simply melt away."
