Aquamarine is a variety of beryl which crystallizes prismatic-ally, sometimes vertically striated and, occasionally, terminated with small pyramid faces. The color ranges from light blue to green.
It is a “stone of courage”. It enhances ones ability for rapid intellectual response and helps one to remain impeccable through assimilation of acknowledge concerning ones beginning and the reality which one has actualized. It accelerates the intellectual reasoning processes and makes one unconquerable through learning-not only about the physical world, but about oneself. It provides a shielding property for the aura and the subtle bodies.
It encourages the innate ability to “always be prepared”. One way of protecting oneself, temporarily, from pollutants is to imagine the essence of aquamarine in the air on all sides-the difference in the air quality is usually recognizable. It has also been used to guard against injury during battle.

It has been used in the treatment of swollen glands. It can also be used to balance and fortify the glands, is excellent for the eyes and for improving vision, and assists in the maintenance of the teeth and with the formative bone structure.

Aquamarine
The name Aquamarine is derived from the Latin aqua (water) and mare (sea).
Aquamarine is one of our most popular and best-known gemstones, and distinguishes itself by many good qualities. It is almost as popular as the classics; ruby, sapphire and emerald. In fact it is related to the emerald both belonging to the beryl family. The colour of aquamarine, however, is usually more even than that of the emerald. Much more often than its famous green cousin, aquamarine is almost entirely free of inclusions.
Aquamarine has good hardness (7 to 8 on the Mohs scale) and a wonderful shine. That hardness makes it very tough and protects it to a large extent from scratches. Iron is the substance which gives aquamarine its colour, a colour which ranges from an almost indiscernible pale blue to a strong sea-blue.
The more intense the colour of an aquamarine, the more value is put on it. Some aquamarines have a light, greenish shimmer; that too is a typical feature. However, it is a pure, clear blue that continues to epitomise the aquamarine, because it brings out so well the immaculate transparency and magnificent shine of this gemstone.
Pyramid
A pyramid is any man-made structure where the upper surfaces are triangular and converge on one point. The base of a pyramid may be either quadrilateral or trilateral, meaning that a pyramid may have either three or four vertical sides, but all pyramids must have trilateral sides. The measurements of these triangles uniformly classify the shape as isosceles and sometimes equilateral.
A pyramid's design, with the majority of the weight closer to the ground, means that less material higher up on the pyramid will be pushing down from above. This allowed early civilizations to create monumental structures by basing the construction off of the mathematics of a pyramid. Indeed, for thousands of years, the by far the largest structures on Earth were pyramids: first the Red Pyramid in the Dashur Necropolis and then the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only remaining Wonder of the World.
The largest terrestrial structures on earth, mountains, are fundamentally pyramidal in shape. This is because the pressure exerted on the base of a rectangular or cube-shaped structure is much higher than the pressure exerted on the base of a pyramid. On a cube, the center of gravity is centered. This means that the top half of a cube is just as massive as the bottom half, and so pressure is equally distributed. In a pyramid, the center of gravity is much lower, because the majority of the mass is toward the base and there is an exponential decay of mass higher up on the pyramid. Thus, it was not until the advent of modern building materials that cubic buildings were possible to build on the scale of pyramidal ones.
